EXPECTATIONS Possess an understanding of and commitment to the University mission.
Represent the University in an appropriate and positive manner.
Maintain confidentiality of all information related to student records
Greet office visitors and answer email and phone calls in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
Operate office equipment such as computers, scanners, photocopiers, etc.
Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Participate in and complete a Performance Evaluation Process, following the guidelines set forth by the University.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
JOB-SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONSMaintain positive work relations with other campus departments and outside vendors.
Provide clerical support for enrollment services and admissions related events including Wilson County College Fair, Discovery Days, Registration Days, and other events as needed to recruit and enroll students.
Enter all University personal communications (phone call, text, email, standard mail, special requests, etc.) into the SIS and CRM.Preserve integrity of SIS and CRM databases through systematic maintenance and review of prospect and applicant information.
Enter orders for office supplies and maintain inventory.
Coordinate and complete imaging of all admissions related documents, including but not limited to transcripts, letters of recommendation, and score reports to the correct student file in the admissions CRM in an accurate and timely manner.
Initiate the prompting of transcript and report evaluations for credit to the registrar’s office
Image and upload transcript and exam score evaluations provided by the registrar’s office in an accurate and timely manner.
Work with other members of the Admissions team to train and oversee student workers, including Graduate Assistants.
DECISION MAKING AND MANAGEMENT Perform duties and responsibilities with limited supervision. Make decisions and establish work priorities on essential operations.
EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma Preferred:
Associate’s Degree
EXPERIENCETwo+ years of related experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Experience and familiarity with a software operating system similar to Student First and SLATE.Advanced computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office specifically Word, Access and Excel.
Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently.
Excellent people, customer service, and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills by phone, in person or by the written word.
