Sr. Civil Engineer

A civil engineering company located in Scranton, PA is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in the design and management of land development projects. Candidates should have experience with project management including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete land development projects.

Duties include:

Design of subdivisions and land development submissions;
Zoning and approvals process;
Stormwater management/calculations;
Site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans;
Site utilities;
PennDOT/DEP permitting/NPDES;
Hydraulic calculations;
Cost estimating;
Assisting department head in project proposals and managing contracts, QA/QC and design oversight;
Mentoring/managing junior engineers and designers;
Ability to attend evening meetings.

Job requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field; EIT certification required, PE preferred;
Minimum of +5 years career experience. Applicant must be able to commute to Scranton, PA location. This is an in office position.
