Engineering Laboratory Technician

This role is critical to supporting the Engineering team by performing hands‑on laboratory, testing, and fabrication activities that enable timely product development, validation, and specification work. The Engineer Lab Technician will handle essential compounding, sample preparation, testing, and lab operations.

• Support compounding activities, including blending and processing materials
• Prepare samples such as compound plaques, dog bones, and pipe samples (cutting, chamfering, grooving)
• Perform materials and product testing (e.g., impact, tensile, heat reversion, UV resistance, burst, sustained pressure, joint deflection)
• Submit and document testing reports
• Assist with light fabrication and fixture/test apparatus builds (welding, machining, assembly)
• Perform light equipment maintenance, service, and general lab housekeeping

• Hands‑on experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering support environment
• Ability to perform mechanical, fabrication, or testing work with precision
• Comfort following test procedures and documenting results accurately
• Basic mechanical aptitude (cutting, assembly, light maintenance)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
