Location: Seal Beach, CA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $80/hr
Job SummarySeeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to support Aerospace Commercial Airplanes Customer Support operations. The engineer will perform structural and stress analysis for aircraft interiors and system components using classical hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) methods.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural/stress analysis for aircraft interiors and systems components.
- Create and validate finite element models from 3D CAD models.
- Conduct linear and nonlinear FEA analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Perform hand calculations and failure mode analysis.
- Support FAA/EASA compliance and certification activities.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
- Review engineering drawings and substantiation reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in structural/stress analysis.
- Experience with linear and nonlinear FEA methods.
- Strong understanding of load paths and structural behavior.
- Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering background.
- Experience with Hyper Mesh, Hyper View, NASTRAN, and PATRAN.
- Knowledge of durability, fail-safe, and damage tolerance analysis.
- Experience with FAA/EASA compliance requirements.
- Experience working with 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
