Description
The Senior Executive Assistant (Sr. EA) provides high‑level administrative and operational support to members of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) within Providence Swedish’s Central Puget Sound region in Seattle, WA. This fast‑paced, highly visible role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to proactively manage competing priorities across multiple executives and enterprise initiatives. The Sr. EA functions as a strategic partner, enabling leaders to operate at scale, stay focused on organizational priorities, and drive execution across a complex health system.
EssentialFunctions Executive Support & Operations
- Manage complex calendars, including prioritization, conflict resolution, and alignment to executive priorities
- Coordinate high‑stakes meetings and events
- Prepare and manage meeting materials, briefings, agendas, and follow‑ups
- Perform standard administrative and office management duties
- Anticipate executive needs and identify gaps, risks, and next steps
- Drive follow‑through on key initiatives, decisions, and action items
- Provide light project and event coordination across cross‑functional stakeholders
- Support executives in maintaining alignment to enterprise priorities and timelines
- Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison for senior leaders, physicians, and partners
- Draft and edit executive‑level communications
- Provide cross‑coverage for other executives and administrative team members
- Contribute to a high‑functioning administrative team culture
- Support standardization of best practices across the Admin team

Required Qualifications- Associate’s Degree – or – Equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school
- 4 years of recent administrative work supporting high‑level executive(s) in a major organization
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6 years of recent administrative work supporting high‑level executive(s) in a major organization
- Experience in Healthcare
Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
