Senior Concept Designer responsible for shaping cohesive in-store experiences across Nordstroms portfolio, from flagship locations to prototype formats. The role blends creative vision and strategic execution, leading concepts from ideation through rollout adaptation while partnering with senior leadership and external brands. This hybrid position is based in Seattle and requires strong experiential design expertise and cross-functional collaboration.

• Drive creative vision for in-store experiences across full-line stores, translating brand narratives and merchandising strategies into customer-centric designs.
• Own the end-to-end concept design process, from ideation through adaptation and rollout across multiple store formats and scales.
• Establish and maintain design standards to ensure consistency across categories and store types.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external designer brands, aligning diverse stakeholders toward shared creative goals.
• Present concepts clearly to brand partners and executive leadership and document decisions, changes, and rationale throughout projects.
• Gather and synthesize requirements across stakeholders to produce solution-based design outcomes; travel up to 50% to support execution.

• 10+ years of experience in concept design through project execution, with a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven background in experiential design within fast-paced luxury retail environments and strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to build trust across multidisciplinary teams and drive effective decision-making.
• Proficiency in industry tools such as Sketch Up, 3D rendering software, Revit/AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% in support of business goals.
