Environmental - Industrial Hygienist – Seattle, Washington Compensation: $65,000–$80,000 annually, full-time with benefits Workload: Approximately 75% field / 25% office

We are seeking an Environmental - Industrial Hygienist to join our dynamic team in Seattle. This role is heavily field focused and supports a wide range of projects throughout the Puget Sound region. Project work aligns with Apex s core service areas, including industrial hygiene and health and safety, environmental compliance, indoor air quality, and contaminated site assessments.

• Conduct hazardous building materials inspections and sampling
• Perform code compliance monitoring and oversight for hazardous materials abatement projects
• Complete indoor air quality evaluations
• Conduct mold and fungal environmental testing
• Provide construction management and abatement oversight
• Prepare technical reports and draft CAD plans

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Health and Safety, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while also operating independently
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent technical field aptitude, including critical thinking, planning, execution, and documentation
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest
• Experience with industrial compliance, hazardous building materials assessments, and air quality sampling

• Additional credentials such as Project Designer, HAZWOPER, Confined Space training, ASP, CSP, EPA Lead Inspector, or Radon Inspector
