Senior Engineer

Position Summary:

The Ads Data team is on a mission to revolutionize the advertising landscape for TV and streaming video through the power of data and AI. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and building solutions across the advertising lifecycle, from planning and activation to measurement and insights. This role involves driving technical direction, setting engineering standards, and mentoring team members while solving complex data and engineering challenges.

Your work will directly impact the foundation and evolution of the company's addressable ad ecosystem, including operational data infrastructure, audience solutions, inventory forecasting, and full-funnel measurement.

• Expertise in big data systems and scalable backend or full-stack services
• Strong experience in designing scalable systems, writing high-quality code, and solving complex engineering challenges
• Proficiency in engineering best practices including code quality, CI/CD, and system reliability
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and SDETs
• Mentorship experience with junior and mid-level engineers

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platform components for real-time and batch processing
• Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
• Define and evaluate technical architecture and contribute to system-level design discussions
• Drive engineering best practices like performance optimization and automated testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to ensure system reliability
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to innovation efforts
