Job Description Project Engineer/Manager - Propulsion WA-1901 - Seattle, WA area

Our client in the Seattle, WA area is a manufacturer of premium quality aviation Supplemental Type Certificated products and is looking for a Project Engineer/Manager with Propulsion experience to oversee their engineering department.

Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business 20 years in the US and 8 years in Europe.

Position purpose/core responsibilities

This Project Engineer/Manger position primarily entails design and delivery of flight qualified propulsion motors and supporting subsystems. Additionally, the Project Engineer/Manager will be expected to support with design documentation release, write technical reports and test requests and analyze test results.

Main Duties:
* Review evolving designs and provide compliance input into design configuration decisions.
* Support of engine and propulsion system flight test activities.
* Review and approve propulsion test plans and reports.### Qualifications
* Experience at all levels will be considered with a minimum of 8 years' experience specific to propulsion systems installation and integration.
* Apply aerospace standard design practices to aircraft motors and accessories.
* Cad experience (NX and AutoCAD preferred).
* Experience with the FAA and Civil Certification are required.
* Familiarity with aerospace design and verification processes.
* Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate and lead activities, prioritize tasks, and report status.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Major in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.
