At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!  This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.

Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

Blue Origin is dedicated to building a road to space. We are seeking a Level 4 Fluids Engineer to join our team. This position involves developing, testing, and implementing fluid systems for our aerospace projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in fluids and thermal systems, engineering principles, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fluid systems into aerospace vehicles.
* Prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
* Ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in design reviews and provide technical input for continuous improvement.
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Four-year aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (or similar discipline)
* 10+ years of experience in a similar role

* Experience using analysis tools specific to piping (such as: CAEPipe, Bentley Auto Pipe, CEASAR, AFT Fathom/Arrow, Sinda Fluint, Simulink, etc.)
* Knowledge of typical use, constraints, and specification of fluid components typical in tubing and piping systems (valves, regulators, pumps, etc.).
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams composed of multiple roles and disciplines to achieve a common goal.
* Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
