Job SummaryThe Business Partner will Restore the Rhythm of our teammates lives by providing guidance, assistance and support to leaders and teammates regarding questions or concerns on company policies, practices and regulations. In addition, they will be responsible for consulting with leaders concerning individual teammates or groups, identifying and resolving teammate-related matters at the front line and center level and providing guidance on staffing and management issues.
EssentialJob Duties
- Provide direction and coaching to managers regarding teammate relations issues including Lighthouse messages, termination approvals, and weekly termination report.
- Participates in employee investigations and ensures confidentiality and timely responds to teammates involved.
- Oversee various adhoc and cyclical projects including employee surveys, annual review performance review process and communications to management on completion status.
- Partners with Sr. Business Partner(s) and Director, Strategic Business Partner to create the best trained most satisfied teammates through engagement and retention initiatives.
- Recommends process, policy, procedural enhancements to help create a employer of choice experience for teammates.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by understanding existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
- Performs other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in Human Resources or related field
- Bachelor's Degree in a business related field and/or Human Resources preferred
- Proven ability to adapt to change in the work environment and deal with frequent change and unexpected events.
- Proven ability to speak clearly, concisely and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Evaluated upon ENPS and Turnover metrics
- Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of employee administration.
- Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
- Proven commitment to internal customer service.
- Strong understanding of federal, state and local requirements and regulations.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
