The Tik Tok Shop US operation team aims to deliver high‑quality products together with a unique customer experience via Tik Tok. The team is responsible for building the Tik Tok Ecommerce partnership for the Tik Tok e‑commerce business in the US. With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe Tik Tok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e‑commerce experience to our users.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short‑term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real‑world experience. You will gain practical skills through on‑the‑job learning in a fast‑paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.

• Act as a bridge between the Operations and Product teams to identify workflow gaps, optimize product experience, and support iterative improvement of product features and processes.
• Analyze operational data to uncover insights, diagnose product issues, and support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the product team to refine product requirements, improve user journeys, and support the design of scalable product solutions.
• Participate in prioritization discussions by consolidating feedback from operations, users, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Support cross‑team communication across regions and time zones, ensuring smooth delivery of product development, testing, launch, and continuous optimization.

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• Proven skills in logical thinking and data analytics; able to break down complex problems and propose actionable solutions.
• Proven communication, organization, and project execution abilities; proactive, responsible, and capable of driving tasks independently.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑regional teams, especially with APAC stakeholders across time zones.
• Fluency in Chinese and English is needed to manage stakeholders in the Greater China market.

• Proven experience in product operations, product management, data analysis, ads/search/recommendation systems, or related internships/projects is a plus.
