Quality Assurance Engineer II, Prime Tech

Base salary range:  -  USD annually.

• Test code at both service and user levels using black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques.
• Innovate test strategy across multiple dependencies, locales, and device types and implement highly scalable automation for UI and backend testing.
• Understand software internals, debug complex problems and performance bottlenecks, and write automated tests using existing tools.
• Collaborate with Software Development Engineers and Business Owners to understand business drivers and technical implementation of features.
• Work with Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support teams to model customer usage and develop test plans/suites that approximate real‑world environments and regression tests.
• Diagnose project release problems and take corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve issues and achieve results.
• Drive software development processes toward quality‑centric methodologies and report on test progress, metrics, and issues.

Build and write test strategy documents, create test plans, drive test execution with peers and stakeholders (SDM, QAM, QAE, SDE, TPM, PM, etc.), write test automation using top‑notch inbuilt testing frameworks, debug and report. Participate in hiring and mentorship of peers and junior employees.

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large‑sized projects.

• Experience with at least one automated test framework such as Selenium or Appium.
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
