- Provides Helpdesk support for comprehensive end‑user systems, including hardware, software, networking, and telecommunications. Support includes research, troubleshooting, testing, analyzing, and communicating clearly and kindly to the end‑user.
- Prioritises tickets based on urgency and/or priority with the information given.
- Completes thorough research and exhausts all possible resources when investigating an issue.
- Physically installs and configures new hardware, software, and systems.
- Responsible for physically relocating and configuring existing equipment based on user needs. Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Provides orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Installation and relocation of equipment, including unboxing, moving with a cart or dolly, plugging into network and power in small or hard‑to‑reach spaces. Must be able to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Creates, updates, and reviews documentation. Responsible for contributing to the IT knowledge base.
- Performs work on‑site in Milliman’s Seattle, Washington office.
- Candidates must currently be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Available to work full‑time (at least 30 hours per week) at our Seattle, Washington office from June to August 2026.
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Office 365 Suite.
- Hands‑on hardware troubleshooting (desktop, laptop, printer, conferencing equipment, mobile devices).
- Updating software and Windows.
- Basic TCP/IP networking.
- Physical ability to walk around, climb stairs, push carts, reach up and down, kneel, crawl, and lift heavy items (up to 30 pounds maximum).

This is a full‑time internship. Candidates must be able to work at least 30 hours per week in the Seattle, Washington office from June through August 2026 with the opportunity to extend into the fall based on performance. This position allows up to 37.5 hours per week. This job posting is expected to close on September 30, 2026.
CompensationThe hourly range for this role is $23 – $46, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt overtime‑eligible role; overtime eligible after 40 hours of work.
