Job Summary
The position of Picker is very repetitive and requires the individual to pick parts correctly and within time standards which are shown on computer screens and/or paperwork. While performing these tasks the individual needs to visually check components for quality defects and must be able to count the correct amounts of components to pick correctly. The individual must complete paperwork and labels as to what and how many were picked.
The individual will need to read part numbers and location 's from computer screens to be able to gather components from the warehouse. The individual filling this role will work closely with co-workers and supervisors and must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Employee must understand and abide by company policies including safety, anti-harassment, anti-discrimination and timekeeping policies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick parts correctly in a warehouse work environment
- Use the computer system to read pick list
- Identify various nuts, bolts, screws, washers, and components by part number
- Pick parts in warehouse, identifying locations using the computer system
- Complete picking tasks accurately and efficiently
- Meet time standards given for each picking task
- Use computer to log entries.

- 0-1 years warehousing or picking; experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift 45 pounds and be on your feet for 4-8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds seldomly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Trustworthy, autonomous team player; self-motivated
