Tuesday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:30pm

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring that our guests find products they love. From pricing and organizing stock to assisting with shipments, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our store.

The Shipping and Receiving Associate supports the mission of The Museum of Flight by performing all shipping and receiving activities for the store and online retail orders. This position maintains the retail stockroom, as well as prepares inventory for the retail sales floor. It allocates incoming shipments to the appropriate floor and storage locations. Additionally, it may provide first level customer service and support inventory control activities when applicable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a retail or customer service‑oriented setting.
- Strong preference for at least one year of retail shipping and receiving experience.
- Knowledge in inventory control and check & balance procedures relating to store inventory.
- Demonstrated customer service skills within a diverse population.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office software, such as Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work efficiently to complete tasks and projects with little to no direct supervision.
- Detail oriented, including timely and effective decision making.
- Willingness and ability to learn database software or computer programs.
