TITLE: Repair Tech
LOCATION:
Seattle, WA
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
PAY: $29-$34

SUMMARY:
Seeking a dependable and motivated Body Shop Worker to assist with commercial truck body repair, fabrication, painting preparation, and installation services. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced shop environment servicing fleet and commercial vehicles.
JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform commercial truck body repairs and modifications
• Assist with collision repair, structural repair, and panel replacement
• Prepare vehicles and truck bodies for painting and refinishing
• Operate shop equipment and hand tools safely
• Install and repair liftgates, van bodies, doors, shelving, and related equipment
• Perform welding, grinding, sanding, and fabrication work as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Work collaboratively with technicians, painters, and supervisors to complete jobs
REQUIREMENT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• Ability to use power tools and shop equipment
• MUST have own tools (air supplies will be provided)
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physical environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attitude/disposition
• Good attendance & punctuality
• Fiberglass & Bondo experience
• Some welding experience
• Parts replacement experience
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Experience with commercial trucks or fleet vehicles
• Welding and metal fabrication experience
• Auto body paint prep or refinishing experience
• Knowledge of liftgate or truck equipment installation
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Previous body shop, fabrication, welding, or automotive/truck repair experience
