Salary: $1,000 per week (full-time)

• Measure and mark surfaces to be covered and cut materials to size as needed
• Mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas and spread it onto surfaces using trowels
• Lay bricks or other masonry units in horizontal courses, filling joints with mortar
• Align structures vertically and horizontally using levels and plumb bobs
• Apply weatherproofing sealant or mortar to vertical joints or surfaces as needed
• Construct corners by fastening in plumb position a corner pole or building a corner pyramid of bricks
• Remove excess mortar with trowels and hand tools and finish mortar joints with jointing tools for a sealed finish

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Mason
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
• Knowledge of different types of masonry materials and construction techniques
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Applicants must have their own visa working permit

• Experience working on historical restoration projects
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to masonry work
