Courier​/Swing Drvr​/DOT

Responsibilities

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; covers all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions and other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED.

Six (6) months of courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions under FMCSA guidance.

• Neat appearance required for customer contact.
• Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Requires a medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Must have a good driving record as outlined in policy.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety.

Must be 21 or older and have had a valid driver's license for the previous three-year period.

Pay:
Starting at $25.65 per hour up to $38.93 per hour.

Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. The position remains open until June 9, 2026.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. It represents the job level minimum and maximum. Actual starting pay is determined by experience, market level, location and other factors.
