This position is located on-site in Sedro Woolley, WA and is for weekend/swing shift.

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY

The Senior Metrology Technician is an expert who operates within the Metrology Lab as a focal point for training, equipment maintenance and overflow analysis support. Additional tasks may be delegated to match the needs of production.

Essential Job Functions
  • Focal for data collection, equipment handling, and analysis training
  • Support production analysis as needed, focusing on building analysis skillsets in production
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop metrology processes with Project Engineering groups
  • Create and deliver metrology training
  • Maintain attention to detail and quality
  • Read and understand blue‑prints and/or CAD models
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines (daily, weekly, annual)
  • Execute advanced assembly procedures, including detailed hardware installation, in‑process and final assembly of a wide variety of tooling, parts, and models
  • Apply mill‑gauging procedures
  • Work in a quality capacity to an auditable level of consistency
  • Understand and comply with safety practices
  • Comply with 5S, AS9100, and Nadcap standards and practices
  • Identify and obtain equipment, tools, and materials needed to properly perform job functions
  • Demonstrate mechanical capabilities and knowledge of common hand tools
  • Perform on‑the‑job training, AS9100, Nadcap training, and other required training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work well under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines, and cooperate with colleagues and supervisors
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality, which is a condition of employment
QUALIFICATIONS
  • U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident, per ITAR and EAR regulations
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or GED required; college level or trade school education preferred
  • Five or more years of operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
DETAILED WAGE INFORMATION
  • Hourly wage range: $20 – $45 per hour, plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Additional pay may be received for off‑shifts, off‑site work, and access pay.
  • Shift differentials: $2 for swing shift, $3 for weekend day shift.
