Collins Children’s Home is looking for mission-minded, energetic individuals or married couples that want to make a difference in lives of children. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides a residential home for up to 8 children in each of our cottages.
Houseparents oversee the children's daily lives including the start of their day (prayer/devotions, healthy breakfast, appropriate dress & to school on-time) as well as upon their return from school (healthy dinners, homework, chores, driving to/from extra-curricular in CH vans, & to bed in a timely manner). Also responsible for administrative duties, home management, church attendance with students, meeting participation & training attendance.
Onsite training is provided. Applicants must be at least 25 years of age, have a high school diploma/GED or higher, a valid driver's license and be able to pass background checks. Previous work with children preferred. We are a tobacco, alcohol and drug free environment. This is a salaried position with a benefits package
