Role Overview:
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will oversee engineering projects and teams, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.

Your role will involve managing technical processes, supporting new product introductions, and collaborating with various departments to maintain and enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication and Professionalism:
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain organization and professionalism, adapting to various instructions and tasks.
  • Technical Management:
  • Oversee document control and project management, ensuring timely completion.
  • Manage SMT equipment, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Interpret x-ray images and manage reflow profiles.
  • Utilize AutoCAD or Solid Works for design and debugging.
  • Conduct defect review and root cause analysis.
  • Technology Development:
  • Assist in researching industry trends and establishing technology roadmaps.
  • Monitor market requirements and technological impacts.
  • Sales & Customer Support:
  • Partner with the sales team and provide technical support during the prospecting process.
  • Contribute to quoting processes and manage client relationships.
  • New Product Introduction:
  • Support documentation control and new product processes.
  • Ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operations Support:
  • Assist with new equipment selection and validation planning.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing engineering teams.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years in electronic manufacturing services, with at least 5 years in new product introductions.
  • Extensive knowledge of SMT manufacturing and PCBA processes.
  • Client/customer facing experience required.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
  • Experience with PCB design and CAD tools (Valor, Cadence, Cam 350, AutoCAD, Solid Works).
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience;
    Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, defense, medical device) preferred.
Language and Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to read and write in English, perform basic mathematical operations, and understand instructions.
Work Environment:
  • Clean, quiet, and well-lit workspace with necessary Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E) as required.
