Description POSITION SUMMARY
Product Configuration on our ITplatforms. Supporting the Business solution managers and deployment managers byanalysis requirements and ensuring right first time deployment. Supporting the business by configuringproducts on our IT platform TIA.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate requests from the business into the relevant TIAapplication tables in the creation of new products (NBS) and amendment ofcurrent schemas (AAR) while meeting key cycle time and quality targets
Ensure all new requests on the tracking system (Jira) arelogged and also kept fully up to date with all changes & communicationsregarding each item of work.
Work with internal stakeholders, such as IT, NBS Design Leadand Commercial to identify and implement improvements
Communicate with the business on deadlines & issues andensure that all relevant information & data is provided for the productconfiguration by escalating and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
Implement and support configuration changes required forACRs, Projects etc.
Complete Unit testing on all new products and any changesthat are configured on the TIA application, in line with all current controlsand processes
Ensure that all IT controls and processes are strictlyadhered to in order to comply with all internal and external regulations inrelation to deployments to various environments.
Work closely with other team members to effectivelycommunicate all requirements and transition items between work streams,promoting support of priorities across the team
Technical/ FunctionalKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Good knowledge of the wingto wing product set up process and any associated procedures
Excellent understanding of thekey functions that make up the Lifestyle Protection business and experience ofworking with same
Ability to managerelationships effectively and work well as part of a team
Excellent communicationskills, including ability to impart technical information and delivering verbal updates to non-English speakingwith internal stakeholders
Determination to meetrequired goals and objectives, and assist others to achieve these goals, withinchallenging deadlines
Ability to manage numeroustasks simultaneously and plan time according to priorities and deadlines
Ability to work on owninitiative and take responsibility for delivery of quality change requirementswithin agreed committed delivery dates (CDD)
Experience in using the TIAapplication and understanding of the following areas:
Referraland Error Handling
Understandingof Premium Structure concepts (taxes, commission, premium rates)
TIADocument handling functionality (Word or suppression applications)
Paidby Agent and/or Direct Debit Processing
ClaimsQuestion Wizard experience
ClaimsPayment process and payment cartridges
Education, Professional Qualifications andExperience
Excellent knowledge ofMicrosoft Office products, in particular Microsoft Excel, required.
Knowledge of SQL Developeras used to analyse and update database tables required.
Third-level qualification inIT or a technical related discipline is preferred
