Job Overview
As a Jr. Field Service Engineer, you will provide services ranging from maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies equipment such as Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X-ray systems at Waygate and customer locations. Travel is expected in excess of 70% of the time.
Responsibilities- Maintain, repair, and install industrial x-ray systems and supporting peripheral equipment such as x-ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high voltage control circuits, motion control and high-end PCs.
- Provide customers with technical support via phone and onsite service.
- Complete service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements in a timely manner.
- Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality service standards.
- Monitor site safety during work scope execution.
- Possess a four-year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME).
- Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Submit to a background investigation covering past employment, criminal history, driving record, and educational background.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain a passport).
- Currently hold valid U.S. citizenship status.
Expected travel is in excess of 70% of the time. You will be paid for travel time, overtime if more than 8 hours a day are worked, and travel costs will be covered.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $59,100.00 - $.

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of posting and is a good‑faith estimate that may vary based on geographic location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and performance.
