Fabrication Manager – Sidney, OH, US. Hydro Extrusions is looking for a Fabrication Manager to lead and oversee all production and manufacturing operations within its largest department, consisting of approximately 150+ employees. The role ensures operational efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting cost‑effective, high‑quality mass production.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of fabrication professionals, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer requirements while optimizing labor, equipment and materials.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, procurement and other departments to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards by monitoring output, conducting inspections, and driving corrective actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including Lean initiatives, to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Promote and enforce safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Track and report key performance metrics, maintaining accurate production records and providing insights to leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or managerial experience.

• Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
• Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Experience implementing safety programs and quality control systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience optimizing plant layout and manufacturing flow.
• Knowledge of production sequencing and tooling design processes.
• Familiarity with process testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams on product and process design.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments.
