Schedule:

Days, 12s, 36 hrs/week, 13 weeks (7:00a–7:30p, Every Other Weekend)
Unit:
Level II NICU
Special Care Nursery – Acute Care (Level II Trauma)
EMR: EPIC
Ratios: 1:1–3 (based on acuity)

Skills:

Neonatal stabilization, postpartum couplet care, newborn transition
Equipment:
Vents, Bubble CPAP, High Flow (RT support 24/7)
Common Cases:
Prematurity, low birth weight, respiratory issues, substance exposure, feeders/growers
Floating:
May float to Mother-Baby unit
