Location: Simi Valley, CA
Pay: $33.00 - $45.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire | 1st & 2nd Shift Available
A growing and profitable aerospace manufacturer in Simi Valley is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a stable, high-performance environment with strong long-term potential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CNC programs to support production requirements
- Review blueprints and engineering plans to determine machining operations
- Optimize programs for efficiency, cycle time reduction, and quality improvement
- Design tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot machining and part issues
- Create setup sheets and support shop floor operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace or precision machining
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and fixture design
- Experience with Master Cam and Solid Works (required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with inspection methods and quality standards (AS9100 preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering (Preferred)
