Western Union is looking for Front Line Associates in Singapore. As a front line associate you will be responsible for welcoming our customers at Western Union, finding out how we can help them and providing them with the products from our range of services which meet their needs.  You will also be asked to process transactions and carry out work in our back office.  At the same time, you will be asked to observe our strict rules on security at all times and to open/close our operation in accordance with safety regulations.

• Responsible for the processing of all transactions efficiently
• Strong product and system knowledge.  Identify where appropriate to upsell WU products to meet customer’s needs.
• Contributing towards achievement of individual as well as branch transaction targets.
• Professionally deals with customers enquiries in a timely manner
• Resolve and follow up on pending transactions escalating where needed
• Ensuring all transactions are performed in accordance to company’s Compliance Rules
• Ensuring housekeeping and workplace safety.
Position Requirements
High School
What you will need to succeed:
• Experience of sales and or customer service function in retail industry.
• Customer service experience in a money transfer operation would be an advantage
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in cash management
• Strong communication skills – able to listen and to act upon what you hear
• Problem solving – identify best products to meet customer needs and resolve any problems that may arise
• Fluency in more than one language (English required)
• Proficiency with software such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access
Additional Information / Benefits
Points to be noted:
• Working pattern: 5 days a week but weekend working is required
• Working Hours: 9 Hours shift, timings depend on the branch you will be based at
