About Our Client

This organisation has a strong and prominent team of medical oncologists, haematologists and radiation oncologists who have received specialist training and worked in world-renowned cancer centres.
Provide high quality, cost-effective patient care that supports established specialty practice objectives and strategic organisational goals
Deliver an excellent and comprehensive patient centre service for all eligible cancers
Offer expert guidance and aid in the screening & diagnosis of cancer and where appropriate take over the care of patients
Expertise in the management of cancer through multidisciplinary teams by developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with medical colleagues in other specialties and participating in regular clinical meetings and other professional activities
To help to ensure the safe and effective administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, endocrine and other therapies and appropriate patient monitoring
Extend care for Oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and to participate fully in the Oncology on-call duty rotation
Involvement of service users and all relevant partners who provide shared care in service development and review
Explain cancer development stages to patients, discuss treatment options and assist in pain management.
The Successful Applicant
A bachelor's degree in medicine with a post graduate degree specialising in Oncology or an accredited medical oncology fellowship program
Preference for prior experience, minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a tertiary regional hospital or academic institution with a comprehensive cancer clinical and research program.
