Position:  Lead System Analyst, Software Engineering (Payment)
Job Responsibilities /

Requirements:

As Technical Payments Lead Analyst, you will execute responsibilities with an understanding of digital payment solution, strategic objectives, and priorities.

You will work closely with the major payment gateways, banks, payment processors and align product requirements with the project implementation plans.

You will be driving improvements in the products by implementing market and industry trends such as tokenisation, mobile wallets, direct debit payment and other innovative payment solutions.  

You have experience working on projects and with team(s) to collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to meet the desired business outcomes.

You have deep domain expertise and applying industry best practices in test driven development and software engineering. You must be able to adapt to agile working environment with little supervision.
Job

Responsibilities:

• Understand the payments landscape, act as payment SME
• Collaborate across teams, technology partners and business user on integration of payment channels onto the platform, from initial stages through to go-live
• Bridge the gap between business user and technology teams. Participate in discovery sessions across teams on business requirement and analyse process improvements, with professional knowledge, experience and technical expertise
• Coordinate payment projects on new initiatives, enhancements and fixes and ensure scope, quality, time and user satisfaction are met
• Closely keep track on project status, provide regular update and identify potential blocker and mitigation required
• Ensure undertaken project meet architectural standards, guidelines, policies and best practices for technology and applications
• Perform test management, work with business users to derive the test cases and test execution and verification, and follow-up on UAT defects
• Perform production post-deployment verifications and follow-up on production defects root cause and resolution
• Provide support to Internal and External auditors’ enquiries payment processes
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on payment application
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement to increase efficiencies    Job

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science with more than 6 years of relevant working experience including technical aspects of software developers and architects.
• Working experience with payment method providers (card schemes, wallets, and local payment methods such as direct debit infrastructures, AXS, paynow, etc.)
• Understanding the payments processing and solutions; familiarity with payment landscape in Singapore/Asia is a plus
• Highly energetic, motivated team player, able to work under tight timelines and pressure to participate in digital transformation journey
• Possess excellent communication skills with accompanied problem solving and analytics skills, able to collaborate with different levels in the organization
• Good interpersonal skills, resourceful, take ownership
• Organised, meticulous, and able to work independently  
• Experience with modern software methodologies (Agile)
• Technical knowledge in Cloud, PaaS, SaaS, Microservices (Docker, Kubernetes), API, java, python, etc
• Experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) and report design tools  
• Experience with cloud-based, CD/CI or DevOps development environment
• Familiar with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Hands-on experience performing application testing activities and handling user enquiries
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently if required, and learn quickly and adapt to different roles in a growing team
