Customer Service Intern

Objective

Academia Education Center seeks to engage a Customer Service Intern to assist with the day-to-day operations of our education center, which include customer service, database management and a variety of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the individual include the following:

● Managing customer relations with clients, which include current and prospective parents and students

● Responding to queries from clients, both existing and prospective, with the aim of increasing new sales of educational programs and services

● Ensure the accurate and regular update of student information on multiple platforms

● Work with the management team to organise business processes and workflows relating to client communication, client data

● Maintain service excellence and professionalism in the company

● Effectively promote the company's educational products and services to prospective clients

● Have strong administrative and organisational skills, to assist with the operational aspects of the business

● Assist Digital Communications Manager and Business Development Manager with transitioning company staff & processes onto new digital platforms, including automated communications module, Customer Relations Management Platform and Learning Management System.

● Assist teachers with classroom management, which includes hosting of online lessons on Zoom and assisting teachers with ad-hoc duties and troubleshooting lesson issues

● Assist with operational duties including the scanning, printing or worksheets and couriering worksheets to clients

Profile

● Singaporeans and PRs only

● Polytechnic and university undergraduates from a business, customer service and/or operations background are preferred

● A keen interest in student welfare and the education industry

● Willingness and ability to work on weekends (preferred and will receive higher remuneration accordingly). Prefered working schedule - Tuesdays to Saturdays or Sundays to Thursdays

● Possess good digital literacy; any experience in operating digital CRM, sales or learning platforms especially welcome

● A progressive mindset that is willing to learn and help organisations drive change
