Position: Deskside Support Team Lead (APAC) - Global Brand - Singapore

    Job Description

  • Coordinate the Global Deskside Support team in APAC
  • IT Onsite and Offsite support for end users (including VIP's) and office IT Management
  • Diagnose and resolve software and equipment (PC, laptop, printer / copier / scanner, beamer, visioconference, mobile phones, etc.) incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications
  • Provice support for: Desktop, Laptop, Telephony, MFP, Videoconference systems
  • Asset management of IT hardware and assets: Stock control and management
  • Install and configure new IT equipment
  • Participate in hardware and software rollout projects (office Moves, new equipment…)
  • Maintain a first class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner. Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organisation
  • The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Bachelor holder in Computer Science/Information technology
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in Desktop Support, including team management experience is a must
  • High Customer and Vendor engagement skills
  • Hardware knowledge: PC, Printers, Phones + cellphones, Videoconference (cameras and microphone/speakers)
  • OS: Windows 7 and 10 expert knowledge; iOS + Android high knowledge; Mac OS X knowledge is a plus
  • Microsoft technologies (Directory Services, Powershell, Exchange…)
  • Able to work together with other departments inside and outside the IT community (Facilities, Finance…)
