** Project Title
** Manufacturing Process Learning Project:
Analysis of Tool Performance and Process Stability in a Semiconductor Fab
** Project Description
** This internship is a structured learning project designed to provide exposure to semiconductor manufacturing concepts through supervised analysis and documentation activities.  The intern will work on a defined project using historical and non‐production data to study manufacturing process flows, tool performance trends, and basic process control concepts.  The project is educational in nature and does not involve execution of production, shift, or operational responsibilities.

Guidance and mentoring will be provided by assigned engineers throughout the internship.
** Project Objective
** Develop foundational understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and manufacturing controls  Apply basic problem‐solving and analytical methods to manufacturing‐related datasets  Build familiarity with documentation standards and continuous improvement concepts within a fab environment
** Project Scope
** The intern’s project scope may include:

Studying semiconductor process flow across selected manufacturing modules (e.g., Wet, Etch, Diffusion, CMP, Lithography) using training materials and historical references  Analyzing pre‐approved historical datasets related to tool performance, process stability, or yield trends  Applying basic analytical methods to identify patterns, variations, or learning observations  Reviewing existing work instructions and SOPs to understand documentation structure and clarity  Participating in learning discussions and reviews with mentors to understand manufacturing problem‐solving approaches
** Learning Opportunities
** Through this project, the intern will:

Gain exposure to semiconductor fab environments and manufacturing workflows  Learn introductory problem‐solving methodologies (e.g., PDCA, 5‐Why, basic SPC concepts)  Understand how manufacturing data is interpreted for process monitoring and improvement  Develop professional communication, documentation, and presentation skills  Experience cross‐functional collaboration in a structured industrial setting
** Deliverables
* * By the end of the internship, the intern is expected to produce:

A project report summarizing learning outcomes, data analysis findings, and observations  A presentation deck outlining the project objective, methodology, and key learnings
** Skillset Required
** Strong learning mindset and willingness to acquire new technical knowledge  Basic analytical and problem‐solving skills  Ability to follow structured guidance and documented procedures  Clear written and verbal communication skills  Teamwork and professional responsibility
** Course of Interest
** Manufacturing Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related technical disciplines
** Duration Period
** Minimum 6 months
