Type: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift

Compensation: $36.40 per hour

Professional experience is valued:
All Warehouse Specialists work with heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, complete paperwork, ensure tasks are completed safely and on time, and make decisions regarding the transfer of incoming and outgoing inventory.

• Load and unload flatbed trucks using a forklift.
• Verify material or merchandise against receiving documents.
• Examine stored materials, note and report discrepancies, deterioration, and obvious damage.
• Route materials to prescribed storage locations.
• Store, stack, or palletize materials according to prescribed storage methods.
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials.
• Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment/issue.
• Palletize heavy and bulk material.
• Sort, count, and weigh material.
• Store, inspect, and issue material.
• Put stock away in bins.
• Count stock levels.
• Pull and process orders and shipments.
• Perform visual inspection of material.
• Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Secure material to pallets with banding or plastic wrap.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year of facilities maintenance or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience and certificate required.
• Must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers.
• Must be able to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion.
• Must be able to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time.

Employees must have the ability to perform heavy manual labor. Physical demands may include: lifting/moving up to 60 pounds, reaching, kneeling, walking, standing for extended periods, repetitive motion, climbing in/out of a vehicle, and walking up/down stairs.
