ATFI has an immediate opening for Senior Process/Chemical Engineer with lead responsibility for production operations related to end-to-end manufacturing of ATFI’s specialty chemicals and paints related to ceramic products. The job includes further development, scale up, and improvement of product quality initiatives and R&D on new generation of formulations.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience- BS/MS Chemical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with scale up of R&D based chemicals to production levels of gallons per batch
- Knowledge of chemical engineering principles for process design, manufacturing specialty chemicals and intimately familiar with establishment and use of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Experience with process flow diagrams, writing technical and engineering reports, SOPs, and performing qualification reviews of emerging materials and process
- Excellent communication skills and supervisory experience
