About the Company:

Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation and a subsidiary of a global business. Operating within a highly regulated environment, they supply specialist products and solutions to aerospace and industrial markets worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with experience in REACH compliance, materials and process management, industrialisation, manufacturing engineering, or continuous improvement to play a key role in supporting both product compliance and manufacturing excellence.

• Support compliance with REACH, RoHS, and other applicable environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and manage material compliance data and documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain material declarations, compliance certificates, and technical information.
• Assess the impact of regulatory changes on products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Support customer enquiries relating to material compliance and environmental regulations.
• Maintain records and documentation to support customer, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Assist with material substitution and obsolescence management programmes.
• Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure compliance and technical requirements are met.

• HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Compliance, or a related discipline.
• Experience working within aerospace, defence, automotive, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with REACH, RoHS, environmental compliance, or materials management.
• Experience supporting manufacturing engineering, industrialisation, or process improvement activities.
• Understanding of REACH and environmental compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrialisation principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and project coordination abilities.
