Product Manager - Rotomoulding Smithfield FullTime

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle development for rotomoulded products

As stand‑alone subject matter expert, you will collaborate with engineering, marketing and operational teams to translate concepts into scoped product initiatives to build on the growing range of polyethylene products. Reporting to the CEO of NPI Group, your main responsibilities will be:

• Translate concepts into scoped product initiatives, aligning stakeholders on priorities, timelines and resource needs.
• Conduct marketing research, segmentation and competitiveness analysis.
• Build the commercial case and create scenario models.
• Maintain project plans (timeline, milestones, budgets), run design reviews, and track tooling build, trials, and approvals.
• Coordinate supplier sourcing (toolmakers, inserts, fittings), quality plans, and documentation control.
• Lead trials, verify cycle time, warpage, part weight, cosmetic quality, and dimensional conformance.
• Train manufacturing teams (operators, machines setters, QA) on product specifics, quality checkpoints, and handling/storage.
• In collaboration with the marketing team, build the go-to-market plan: customer profiles, channels (retail/merchants), pricing tiers and launch calendar.

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, product management, or related technical discipline
• Experience in manufacturing, ideally roto‑moulding
• B2B and/or B2C product management experience
• Highly commercial, strong data analytical skills, and capable of making data driven decisions
• Demonstrated experience in streamlining product management processes to drive continuous improvement and increase efficiency
• Ability to undertake regular travel intrastate and interstate
