As an Accountant 1 within our Fund Accounting team, you’ll build foundational expertise while supporting the delivery of accurate and timely accounting services for a portfolio of funds. In this entry‑level role, you’ll focus on structured processes, routine transactions, and core reporting activities—working under guidance while developing technical knowledge and contributing to high‑quality client outcomes.

• Prepare basic financial statements, NAV calculations, and supporting deliverables using established guidelines, ensuring accuracy and quality under supervision.
• Process daily fund accounting transactions, including bookkeeping entries, capital calls, distributions, and investor notifications using designated systems.
• Maintain accurate records by reconciling transactions, preparing working papers, and completing operational checklists in line with standard procedures.
• Support daily operations by tracking progress, completing timesheets, following workflows, and escalating issues when required.
• Contribute to quality delivery by performing self‑reviews, supporting senior team members, and actively participating in training and development activities.

• Completed HSC with strong numerical skills and are working towards ACCA/ACA (or equivalent), or hold a relevant degree.
• Some experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally within fund accounting or a shared services environment.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, and eagerness to deepen knowledge in fund accounting.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, reliable, with good time‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proactive and collaborative team player, open to feedback, eager to learn, and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
