We’re working with a growing, forward‑thinking UK manufacturing group with multiple sites, seeking a QHSE Engineer who is eager to move beyond operational delivery and into a more strategic, management‑focused role.
This is a genuine career progression opportunity where you’ll play a key role in shaping standards, influencing culture, and driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Support and enhance the Integrated Management System (IMS) aligned with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Analyse quality metrics, including complaints, non-conformances, and trends.
- Perform inspections and ensure product quality meets required standards.
- Travel across the UK to engage with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Deliver training and guidance to production teams.
- Actively contribute to the Health & Safety Committee.
- Support risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Promote and embed a strong safety‑first culture.
- Conduct safety audits, investigate incidents, and implement preventative measures.
- Maintain accurate data to improve traceability and operational performance.
- 37.5‑hour working week with strong work‑life balance.
