Overview

Velirx Brooklyn Data is seeking a Director of Data & AI Alliances to build and scale strategic partnerships across the modern data and AI ecosystem. This role will drive joint go-to-market initiatives, co-sell motions, and revenue growth with leading data platform providers.

, Velirx Brooklyn Data partners with organizations to unify data, activate AI, and deliver intelligent digital experiences. This role will strengthen Velir x Brooklyn Data's position within the data ecosystem and translate partner relationships into meaningful pipeline and revenue. The ideal candidate is both strategic and commercially driven
, with deep experience building alliances with leading data, analytics, and AI platforms.

Responsibilities

Strategic Alliance Development

  • Build and manage Velirx Brooklyn Data’s strategic partnerships with leading data and AI platform providers
    , including Snowflake, Databricks, Domo, and dbt.
  • Identify and develop new alliance opportunities within the modern data stack ecosystem
    .
  • Strengthen Velirx Brooklyn Data’s position as a preferred services partner within partner ecosystems.
  • Identify and pursue “first-to-market” opportunities
    , including early adoption of new partner features, products, or capabilities.

Revenue and Pipeline Generation

  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies that generate pipeline and new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Velirx Brooklyn Data’s sales and growth teams to support co-selling initiatives and partner-led opportunities
    .
  • Proactively track and register opportunities to ensure the organization receives appropriate credit for sourced opportunities and client consumption growth.

Partner Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary Velirx Brooklyn Data liaison with key partner executives and alliance leaders.
  • Establish and nurture executive relationships across partner organizations.
  • Maintain strong collaboration between Velir’s sales, marketing, and delivery teams and partner counterparts.
  • Lead Velirx Brooklyn Data’s strategy and execution for data and AI partner conferences, summits, and ecosystem events
    .
  • Identify and prioritize the most impactful partner events including Snowflake Summit, Databricks Data + AI Summit, Domo Palooza, and dbt Coalesce.
  • Develop pre-event go-to-market strategies to drive pipeline generation, partner alignment, and client engagement.
  • Coordinate internal preparation across sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure Velir x Brooklyn Data is positioned effectively throughout event preparation, execution, and follow up.
  • Oversee execution of Velirx Brooklyn Data’s presence at partner events including executive meetings, speaking opportunities, joint marketing initiatives, and partner engagement activities.
  • Ensure strong post-event follow-up and pipeline conversion from meetings, leads, and partner introductions generated at these events.

Joint Marketing & Market Positioning

  • Drive the development of early case studies and success stories that support partner adoption and strengthen market positioning.
  • Maintain visibility into partner product and feature roadmaps to proactively identify opportunities for early testing, case studies, and joint go-to-market efforts

Enablement & Internal Alignment

  • Ensure teams are enabled on partner technologies and value propositions
    .
  • Align internal stakeholders on partner priorities and initiatives
    .
  • Support joint solution development and partner-aligned service offerings
Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in technology alliances, partnerships, or ecosystem leadership
  • Experience working with data platforms, analytics, or AI technology ecosystems
  • Proven success driving partner-sourced or partner-influenced revenue
  • Experience building joint GTM strategies and co-sell motions

Preferred Experience

  • Background in data platforms, analytics, AI, or digital transformation services
  • Experience working with platforms including, but not limited to:
    • Snowflake
    • Databricks
    • Domo
    • dbt
  • Experience working in consulting, agency, or professional services environments
