Job Description Summary

Job DescriptionThe Chaplain I reports to the Manager, Pastoral Care Services. The Chaplain I, under the guidance of the Manager, Pastoral Care Services, provides pastoral care services to patients, families, and staff with respect to individual religious and spiritual practices and values.
Minimum Requirements- The equivalent of a Master's of Divinity from an accredited theological seminary and ordination as a priest, minister, or rabbi, with current ecclesiastical endorsement or endorsement eligibility.
- One unit of clinical pastoral education approved by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or the National Jewish Welfare Board, or equivalent clinical experience; one year of pastoral experience. Must be able to communicate well verbally.
- Must possess excellent relational, collegial and interdisciplinary skills.
