Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst – Advanced
Location: Fully Onsite – South Carolina
Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)
#W2-CONTRACT ROLE ONLY
Candidates must currently reside in South Carolina or be willing to relocate to South Carolina prior to the start date at their own expense.
Key Responsibilities- Develop test plans, QA processes, UAT processes, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform Smoke Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing, regression testing, and usability testing
- Design and support automated testing frameworks and user interface testing applications
- Conduct quality assessments to identify defects, security flaws, and optimization opportunities
- Translate business requirements and policy documentation into test cases and automated testing scenarios
- Maintain defect tracking databases and coordinate issue resolution with technical teams and leadership
- Review and validate vendor test plans, test scripts, and testing results
- Prepare testing reports, track testing progress, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with architects, developers, technicians, and management throughout the SDLC lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with software testing governance standards, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Recommend process improvements to maximize system reliability, performance, and efficiency
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- 5+ years translating business requirements into test cases and testing scenarios
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Sahi Pro or Selenium Automation Framework
- Experience designing and developing automation test scripts
- Experience with formal test design techniques such as Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis
- Experience using test design tools such as PICT or equivalent orthogonal-based tools
- Working knowledge of one or more quality/process frameworks including Spice, TPI, TMMI, or CMMI process areas
- Strong experience supporting SDLC and Agile environments
- 5+ years of large enterprise or e-business systems experience
- Medicaid or healthcare domain experience preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, Medicaid systems, HIPAA EDI Transactions, and X12 Standards
- Experience with Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business, or healthcare-related field
- OR
- 5+ years of equivalent professional experience in Quality Assurance
- Strong documentation and reporting abilities
- Ability to communicate testing gaps and issues effectively with development teams
- Experience creating and supporting test scenarios, use cases, and testing documentation
