Skills Needed: Personal Qualities:
Certified nurse midwives (CNM) must have good communication skills and the ability to instill confidence in patients. They must be sensitive, compassionate, and genuinely devoted to natural childbirth. A CNM must be able to deal with blood and be able to handle the stress of assisting women through the pain of childbirth. Other essential characteristics include being organized and clear thinking, as well as being able to gear up whenever the call comes in that a woman under your care has gone into labor.

Physical Requirements:
Nurse midwives have to lift, bend, and kneel for long stretches of time. They must be able to tolerate long and irregular work hours and be on call 24 hours a day.

Skills Needed: Essential requirements:

-Western educated, trained and experienced Female Sonographer with current registration and valid professional license; Diagnostic Ultrasound/Sonography Certification;
-Must have one of the followings Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography (minimum three years course duration); or Associate Degree in Sonography (minimum two years course duration) along with Registration/Certification or Accreditation as a Radiographer/ Sonographer; or Bachelor Degree or Diploma from an accredited Institution in Radiography /Radiology Technology or Medical Imaging (minimum three years course duration) and Post Primary Certificate or Diploma degree (minimum twelve months course duration) in Diagnostic Ultrasound;
-Minimum 3 years of current post graduation experience in most areas of Ultrasound Imaging;

Skills Needed: Essential requirements:

1. Western educated, trained and experienced Respiratory Therapist with current registration and valid professional license from the country of origin;

2. Must have one of the followings educational qualifications: either Bachelor Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited University or College; or having completed the Associate Degree in Respiratory Care- being registered as a RRT through NBRC- National Board for Respiratory Care;

3. Post- graduate specialty training in Respiratory Care - an advantage;

4. Minimum 4 years of current post graduation Registered Respiratory Therapist experience in a tertiary care hospital, including three years of Critical Care experience; Critical Care experience – of which at least 2 years’ experience in NICU/PICU ( preferred );

5. Excellent English language knowledge and skills; Arabic language knowledge and skills- an advantage;

6. Current BLS and ACLS Certifications;

7. Current CPD- Continuing professional development;
