SERVPRO of Piscataway is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Restoration Crew Chief to oversee and lead out restoration technicians. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities- Knowledge of disaster restoration industry (Water, Fire, Mold)
- Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
- Coach and train restoration technicians and ensure safety standards are being followed during all active jobs
- Ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, arrive to work site
- Perform daily monitoring and required activities on all active jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with a sense of urgency
- Complete sketch and scope sheet for estimate, complete drying records using mobile software
- Inspect jobs after completion and obtain customer signatures for certification of satisfaction
- Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction
- Experience with using Xactimate is preferred but not required
- Required:
OCT – Odor Control Technician - Preferred (not required): ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician
- FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician
- OCT – Odor Control Technician
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance)
- Climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g. crawl spaces, attics)
