Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
- Must have 3-6 years of experience in a relatable engineering environment.
- Must have a sound understanding of fabrication, boiler making/welding, and precision machining.
- Must have excellent organizational, planning & time management skills.
- Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, such as Word, Excel, and Teams.
- A sound understanding of 3D CAD packages, in particular Solid Works, would be advantageous.
- A sound understanding of FEA Software, in particular Solid Works Simulation and/or Abaqus, would be advantageous.
- A sound understanding of Engineering Calculations Software, in particular Mathcad, MATLAB or similar, would be advantageous.
- Exposure to ASME VIII, API and Class Rules (ABS & DNV) in respect of design and manufacture would be advantageous.
