Production Operative

Location: Hedge End

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join a growing manufacturing team in Hedge End. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering full training, a supportive working environment and the potential for a permanent position.

Working within a clean and organised production facility, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality products to detailed specifications while contributing to a team focused on quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Whether you already have manufacturing experience or are looking to build on your existing skills, this role offers structured training and long-term opportunities for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble products in line with detailed work instructions and quality standards.

* Complete production records and documentation accurately.

* Ensure products meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.

* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

* Support different production areas as required.

* Follow company procedures and recognised industry standards.

About You

* Previous manufacturing, assembly or production experience is beneficial.

* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Able to follow instructions accurately and work to set processes.

* Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.

* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Physical Requirements

* Able to undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting items up to 20kg.

* Comfortable carrying out repetitive assembly work.

* Able to access materials stored at height using appropriate equipment where required.

Location:

Hedge End, Southampton

Salary: £12.82 per hour

Hours:

37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

* Monday to Thursday: 6:30am–3:00pm or 7:30am–4:00pm

* Friday:
Early finish at 12:00pm
