NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION:
Marching Band Drill Writer
LOCATION:
Southington High School
SALARY: $1,290.00 - Stipend
DESCRIPTION:
Work cooperatively with the high school band director in designing marching band drills, planning the summer band camp: rehearsals and planning the fall marching band activities. Edit drills as necessary during the fall marching band session. Assist in the instruction of the marching band with special attention to basic marching technique and execution of the written drills. Perform other marching band related duties as assigned by the band director or principal.
Knowledge of marching band drill designs and techniques. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in music and leadership roles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
CT Certification Required
Marching band drill writing experience preferred.
