Job Title: Part-Time Member Services & Child Watch Specialist (Parks and Recreation)

Are you friendly, energetic, and passionate about recreation and customer service? The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Member Services & Child Watch Specialist to be the welcoming face of the Fit City Recreation Center!

What You'll Do:

This is a dynamic role where you'll help facilitate the center's daily operations and provide exceptional service to our members and guests. Your responsibilities include:

• Membership & Operations:
  Handling front desk operations, memberships, passes, general admittance, and facility opening/closing procedures.
• Patron Support:
  Answering questions about our programs, services, costs, and policies; checking out sports equipment; and resolving patron concerns to ensure a safe, high-quality experience.
• Child Watch Care:
  Providing a safe and fun environment for children in our Child Watch area.
• Financial Duties:
  Accurately handling cash, performing transactions, program registration, and product inventory.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Six (6) months of customer service experience is preferred.
• Must possess (or be able to obtain within 3 months of hire) a Red Cross CPR Certification and a food handler's permit.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A personable attitude, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn.
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
