Senior Project Manager-Aviation Group

Q&D Construction, a top-ranked general contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to be part of our Aviation Group team. Q&D’s Aviation Group focuses on work in and at airports in the U.S. which includes new terminal buildings, support facilities, tenant improvements, equipment upgrades, vendor (concessionaire, leaseholder) build-outs, and airline-specific construction activities like branding and signage, gate relocations, ticketing and check‑in configurations, and their back‑of‑house facilities  Q&D team of project managers, project engineers, and superintendents work together in over 100 airports across the United States.

Q&D works alongside our clients, within the framework and layers of regulations, restrictions and initiatives, to develop the most advantageous and cost‑effective solution on their behalf.

Please note that this position requires an extensive amount of travel and/or relocation.

• Four‑year degree in any field or equivalent field experience
• Ten or more solid years of construction management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to/affinity for travel up to 75% of the time

PM on at least one project $50m+ from start to finish

• Exhibits strong time management skills
• Has ability to balance numerous responsibilities
• Is energized by successfully managing multiple projects at various stages of design and construction, in many different cities, working with lots of stakeholders
• Communicates well with clients, subcontractors, vendors and his or her own teammates
• Has some experience in delivering professional sales presentations
• Works collaboratively with peers and colleagues
• Is detail-oriented and organized with documentation and follow-through
• Takes initiative and is proactive in resolving issues and concerns
• Consistently follows through on commitments
• Builds relationships with clients and coworkers through being personable, professional, considerate, and fun
