Schedule: M‑F (7:00 am‑4:00 pm) 1 hr lunch
Pay Rate: $26‑$28/hr
Location: Sparks, NV
Position Type: Full‑time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Follow all corporate safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
- Perform routine installations and/or maintenance on assigned products. Perform log analysis of system errors during qualification and test.
- Assist on‑the‑job training to the internal technician in routine operation, installation, and troubleshooting of assigned products. Effectively troubleshoot issues for both hardware and software.
- Professionally interact with and understand technical information from the internal team and multi‑national and multi‑language teams.
- Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork and status reporting with supervision. Input data to the QA/QC check sheet, create a report, and submit it to the Installation Site Manager.
- Attend daily field meetings. Work with minimum supervision, as needed, and recommend technical solutions/resolutions to engineering groups.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements. Make continuing visual and audible observations of the machines to detect any abnormalities. Maintain complete and accurate records of all work done on the equipment and machines.
- Ensure workplace health and safety and protection of employees: wearing PPE is required and may include a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, a face mask, and a hard hat.
- Technical school or military certification is preferred. No degree required.
- 1‑2 years of knowledge of electrical diagnostic instruments and shop/hand tools. Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints and diagnose/troubleshoot electromechanical devices.
- Team‑player ability, flexible and willing to work a compressed work week, and solve practical problems in varied environments.
- Ability to work at heights (ladder, scissor lift, etc.).
- Working knowledge of digital voltmeter and oscilloscope functionality. PC skills (MS Office, Excel, Windows).
- Valid driver’s license.
May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, be on feet for 8‑10 hrs at a time, bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift 50‑75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
